Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Have you forgotten which RootsWeb lists you are subscribed to? Are you no longer getting posts from a list you joined? Maybe you "bounced" off a list and need to re-subscribe.
It is simple to check and see which lists you currently are on by going to Password Central. http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/
Enter your e-address into the box and check the square marked "To which lists am I subscribed?". Scroll down the page to the box at the bottom which says "Email me my info" and click that box. Shortly you will receive an e-mail listing every Rootsweb mail list to which you are subscribed.
Hope this is useful to some of you.

Hi folks,
Just wanted to pass along the link for a valuable free genealogy newsletter that Rootsweb puts out that many of you may be interested in. At one time when you subscribed to one of the Rootsweb mailing lists, you were automatically subscribed to the newsletter (which is how I began receiving it a few years back.)
You can subscribe to the newsletter and take a look at past issues at the link below.
