My ancestor is Louisa Colding. James B. Colding's sister. And I have collected odds and ends of information on the Colding family.
This is an unacceptable source for pioneer certificates, but Samuel S. Gibbons' book, "Calhoun and Related Families" is helpful. It has very few references and some errors, but it helps with the relationships with other Coldings and their in-laws. The book is in the Orlando Library and is said to be in the Alachua County Library in Gainesville.
James B. Colding is the eldest son of Thomas and Nancy Colding. Their probate records are at the Alachua County Courthouse (I have copies). James is the Administrator for at least Thomas.
My notes say that Terissa was in her son William's household in the 1870 Census of Hillsborough County. Chances are she survived her husband. She may be buried in Turkey Creek, Picnic or Hurrah or Fellowship cemetery in eastern Hillsborough County [sort of off of SR-39].
Also Samuel B. Colding applied for a Confederate Pension [A00464] in Florida which is available online from the archives.
Samuel and Edna's marriage record is in Hillborough County Marriage Book B page 80. [microfilm at the Clerk's Office and maybe more in the USF Special Collection].
I can email you copies of the probate records, and the pages I copied from Gibbons' book {I only copied a few}. Drop me an email off-this-message-board.

I'm looking for resources to verify Samuel B. Colding was the son of James B. and Terissa Colding, born 01 Jan 1841 in Duval County, FL. Also looking for resources (other than census) to document SBC children (he married Edna Louise Walden 05 Mar 1868). SBC was my gr-gr-grandfather, but the only resources I have to verify the line are censuses, and I need more for UDC and FL Pioneer requirements.
Also looking for information on where James B. Colding and Terissa might be buried. The last census I have (1860) shows them in Alachua County, but I can find no reference to where they are buried.
I would love to share the info I do have with other Colding family that may be interested! Thanks alot!
