Hi Carl,
We must be related. There are many Cold's in FL. Do you know Ron
Cold? Anyway, my Dad is Paul E. Cold, Jr., son of Paul E. Cold, Sr.,
son of Frithjof E. Cold, son of Paul Myer Cold. Can you share GEDCOM
file formats?
Side story: My understanding is that Paul Myer Cold was in line
for the throne, but he didn't want it. His brothers had been hired by
the US Govt to survey the FL coast and were very positive on the US.
Switzerland was emerging as a controlling political influence over
Norway at the time. I've heard a story about a signet ring that came to
the US with Paul Myer Cold. I do have a family crest.

I am a descendant of Paul Myer Cold who immigrated to Florida (Key
West) aboard the "City of Houston" in 1872 from Norway and am interested
in sharing information regarding the Cold surname, particularly
relating to the descendants of Paul Myer Cold.
