I have an idea for you. Try writing/calling the Chamber of Commerce of Colcord, OK...I bet they will have something on the history of the town.

I grew up in the town Colcord,Oklahoma and I'm trying to find information about the man who founded this town. I have heard his name many times but I can't remember what it is. The name Charles is what keeps coming back to me. If anyone has any information on this man I would really appreciate it. I'm not family, I am just researching the town.
