Many thanks for taking the time to review the Colclough people. I've been trying to attach a genealogical descendant chart containing all the Çolclough information but Ancestry.com, which operates this message service, simply freezes when I try to send it. If you should contact me at johnfa(a)shaw.ca then I could send it along privately. Sarah Brooks, the wife of the original Robeert Colclough, is the link to my family, Sarah being the younger sister of my gt. grandmother's second husband. Sarah, of course, was the only member of the Brooks family to emigrate to the U.S. I'm still trying to find out where she died. She does not appear to have been buried in Phoenix with her husband Robert.
Thanks again for sending along all of the new information. That is very much appreciated. John Ashworth.

James Arnold Colclough was my father-in-law, his wife was Ann Allison Cox Colclough - she died before him, his first marriage did not last long. Theeir first child was a girl, but died in birth - theywere both sad to have lost her. James Arnold Colclough, Jr, their first son, is still alive in Phoenix, I was his first wife and we have two sons who live in Colorado (even have a nearly 3 year old strawberry blond Colclough). Jim reportedly married Gail Looney who resides with him in Phoenix. Robert Colclough, Jims brother passed away about 4 years ago, I am not positive that he and Mary Eggleston got married, supposedly he was the father of Audry Colclough - they both live in AZ I think. Georges wife died a few years ago, they had no children, Geoge died before her. Al Colclough committer suisige some years ago after his second wife died, he had a son with his first wife ( the son lives in Utah but I don't think his last name is Colclough) If my scanner worked I could send you!
some photos - but it is not working presently. Arnold only went to 8th grade in school, but was a successful business owner, a auto body shop in Phoenix "Arnold's Truck and Body Works"

Good day.
Robert Colclough and Sarah Elizabeth Colclough, formerly Brooks, emigrated to the US about 1902. So far as I can discover, they had 3 sons:
George Robert Colclough, born 15 April 1905 in New Jersey;
Arnold Colclough, born about 1906 in West Virginia;
Albert Colclough, born about 1909 apparently in New Jersey.
I'd be very pleased if you could help me with any background information that you may have on this family and the Colclough descendants in the US.
With thanks, John Ashworth, North Vancouver, B.C.
