The Family History Widow
My Husband is gone, no Longer around
The grass needs mowing and he's nowhere to be found!
The sink needs fixen and the house needs some paint.
So many Honeydoos I think I will faint!
No he hasn't passed on and he isn't dead
He's off with his relatives who have gone on ahead!
He's studying their pasts, off in his own little room,
And if I don't get some attention he'll be with them soon!
So when I'm not sure where he is. It's never a Mystery!
He's off working on his Family History !

Need some help with the following:
1. It appears from the Will of Rachel that her dau, Mary Thornbury married Samuel Thornbury. Is this a correct assumption? Is there a marriage record for them?
2. The Will of Rachel gives to the children of Mary Thornbury several items. The children named as issue of Mary are Sarah Kidwell and William Kidwell. I assume that Mary had these children by a previous marriage to a Kidwell. Is this correct? Is there a marriage record to this Kidwell and also a marriage record to Thornbury?
3. Do we know the birth date of Mary? Do we know the birth dates of her Kidwell children?
4. Did Kidwell leave a Will or probate settlement for Mary and the children?
5. Does Mary leave a Will or probate settlement when she died?
6. Do we have a marriage for her dau, Sarah Kidwell?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Eleanor

I would love to see the info you have on the Colcloughs you copied from the Virginia Gazette, Williamsburg. Saw your post of Aug. 2002. I am descended from Samuel Thornbury & his wife a Colclough and my husband is descended from John Colclough, Mary Rivett. Thank you.
