Questions:
Any ideas on Charles Edward Colby's Illinois birth or first marriage
records?
I have an 1852 Hardwick, VT birth for a Martha Jane Foster to Jona Foster.
There is also an 1847 Danville, VT birth for a Charles H Colby to John F
Colby. Close but nothing firm.
I have nothing at all (so far) on what became of the parents. Any chance
the mother could be the same Mattie Webb (former Mattie Colby) of the
Starlight Saloon in Tombstone, AZ?
More to follow.

Hello, Webb! The message thing on Ancestry doesn't seem to be working. I

Pearl was RIGHT! Please contact me. This is really great!!!

Subject: [COLBY] Henry Colby
Ron and others,
Do you have any idea this census below that Henry who was living with her
daughter Lydia aged 90 about 1850. But I don't have a full informative
census.
< 1940 Ward 3, North Platte, North Platte Election Precinct, Lincoln,
Nebraska, United States
Charles A Wills, Head, M, W, 62, Md, West Virginia (1878)
Lida Wills, Wife, F, W, 60, Md, Nebraska (1880)
Pearl Wills, Daughter, F, 12, Idaho (1928)
Henry Colby, Father-in-law, M, W, 90, Indiana, Md (1850) >
Did he make up on his age or what else?
Md mean married, is that fact?
Or enumerator wrote sloppy which one is Md or Wd (Widow?
I presumed that they don't get divorced, yet, isn't that correct?
Does Henry have middle name?
Where did his buried place?
