Working on it!!
Rhoda is the child of Rufus & Mary Jane Glidden of Patricktown Plantation,
Lincoln, Maine. She was 9 in 1850. Next door is a John Colby. But, he is
55 years old and married to Susan and with 4 children. Probably not the
John she married!! But, maybe this one had a son named John who was living
somewhere else - fishing or something. There is a gap in ages that would
allow for such an idea.
This John would be child of Abner & Elizabeth Ford Colby, I would think.
Any other ideas??

I think he mut be a nephew / cousin - not a child because Abraham & Betsey
all ready have children born in the time period his age indicates. Also,
there is no occupation given for Aurelius - it is Charles & Lorenzo who are
the shoemakers.
The Washington State Aurelius is consistent in his age through the 1860,
1870 and 1880 census indicating that he was born in 1835, not 1833.
So, we still have no parents for the Washington State Aurelius and now we
have another orphan. :(
