Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

This is a very old post, but if you are still doing research, I would love to connect. My husband descends from Henry Kalbach who immigrated from Germany in 1752. Henry had a brother Adam and most consider their father to be Philip Kalbach. A family relative who descends from a Colboth (as it is spelled in Illinois) told me that she had a conversation with a very old uncle who said his great grandfather spoke with a German accent and had moved from PA to TN. One of Henry Colboth's sons was Jacob Colboth (abt 1770-after 1830) who died in Illinois and is buried in a cemetery in Drake Cemetery, New Burnside, Williamson County, IL. Most of the Coboth's in Southern Illinois lived in the Tunnel Hill, Johnson County area.
