Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

This information from Stan Card <stancard(a)gte.net> 6 Dec 1999
I just rec'd info from the Lutheran Church Archives in Boppard a/Rhein,
Germany. I sent it to Nancy with a translation (mine) of the pages. She is
putting it on her website along with info from other sides of my family. I
was in Germany 7 Sept to 7 Oct and we spent some time going to some of the
ancestral hometowns. Nancy's site is www.flora.org/nancy/lunenburg .
You're welcome to use the info as I'm sharing it with anyone interested. I
have the copies of the documents sent by the church. There is also a
picture of the tower that stands in Dierdorf, built about 1500. Dierdorf is
in the Westerwald, just a bit northeast of Koblenz (Coblenz).

One of you got an "unsubscribed" notice today. I show that everyone is
still subscribed. I am on the NEWBIE list administrator mail list and they
are saying to ignore the strange bounces and things going on right now - but
keep an eye out. Even list administrators are getting messages that they
have been unsubscribed?? Some think that the entire internet is stressed
with all the online shopping and that things are ricocheting around that
don't mean anything????
