I will be happy to research a little, but I need more information. Which state are we talking about? Where was he in 1920?
Write to me at MikeJessieCheek at cs dot com.

Hi there
I am writing to ask if anyone knows any stories about or are related to the above. My father is his grandson and there is very little known about him before 1920 when I believe he left home. If anyone knows anything I would really appreciate

I know I am also connected to this family, I just found my Dad's biological mother's family, his mother had passed away in 2001, and so did a sister in 2003, a brother or half brother(I'm confused on who is half or whole) is alive but estranged for good reason. My Dad was given up for adoption in Cook county, IL in 1963. He always knew from a young age that he was adopted but my grandparents told him that they did not know who is biological parents were or there names. Well after my Dad almost died from a heart attack in 2008, for some reason my Granny told him that she did in fact have his bio mother's name, and actually still had the adoption records, and a few other things from back then. She then asked me if I would look for my Dad, because I'm pretty good at this stuff, but all the papers had was her first and last name, and where he was born. No father's name nothing, her name at the time of the birth was Carol DeVusser. It took me 2 years and many false leads, be!
cause she was had been married at least 4 times, with name changes, not to mention her husband Frank DeVusser, who IS NOT believed to be my father's biological dad, but can't say for sure. I do know that Frank also has several children that were either given up for adoption or abandoned.
