Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

My line is from Robert Coker, 1734 / Phillip Coker 1783 / Robert Albert Coker 1819 / James Thomas Coker 1830 b Bibb Co AL / Peyton Calloway Coker 1859 b MS / Othel Callaway Coker 1893 b Rising Star Tx. O C (Bud) is my Grandfather. I would like to talk to you about Ann Ratliff since I have two difference stories about her marriage to John and their children. I am interested in the Coker e-mail loop and I will ask my cousin also.

My cousin and I live in AL and my cousin was reared in Gilbertown Al. It was named after Pleasant Lee Gilbert, a brother to William F Gilbert and boh sons of Michael Gilbert..
We are vey interested in proving the ancestry of Dempsey Coker who appeared first in Washington Co AL in 1816 Any hekp would be appreciated.

Has anyone ever thought about looking at the property log from these plantations? Slaves were often times listed with the animals/livestock because they were considered property
