Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

had a son named William Thomas from everything I have read. Lost my dad and is very important to me that I find answers in his lineage. If anyone has come across any info on these 2 aside from the fact that Valentine served in the civil war and they lived in NC, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, I am not sure you read the 1860 census data correctly. The male in the household is E. J. and the female is Emma J., evidently the parents of William T. Coker. The H. Coker is too old to be the son; he is probably a brother of Elijah Coker. Here is the marriage record index for the couple.
