May I ask what yoer your Diadem was born and if it was male for sure, or possibly female. I come from a woman they called Dicey Coker I believe for a short name, no one know for sure what her real naem was , but one relative assumes it amy have been Lidicia and many others have copied this as her name, but actually there has never been any proof. She also was supposed to have been Indian, but we have never ben able to find out who her family was, our line all say she was born in TN in 1834, but census show one b. 1833 in Arkansas, but that family does not claim her, and claim not to have Indian. and which we still do not have proof if could be her either. I would like to know more about your Indain Cokers for this reason. I think Dicey is a nickname for a woman that they could either not pronounce, or just shortened somehow.

We have three generations of "Athenia" women in our family line - saw the name on your post - do you have any idea what the connection is, or your family history of the name? I would greatly appreciate any information... I am having a hard time making connections with this line in my family.
