Do you Yahoo!?
Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail.
Dear Beth,
Yes, I would like any abstracts on the Hendrick family. I am a direct
descendant of Isaac Coker, Rev Soldier. I joined DAR under his service. He died
in Henry Co. Ga on 6May1833.
His parents were Joseph Coker and Mildred/Milly and to this day I do not
have a maiden name for Milly. Have searched for her name to no avail.
Would be thrilled to receive a copy of the Will of William Hendirck. Does
appear to be the father to our own Milly Coker. Another blank filled in.
You can send it as an attachment. Again, thanks and I anxiously look
forward to hearing from you.

I've seen the Hendrick name several places in my research, but never made the Coker connection. You may want to look closely in Edgecombe County, NC, as that is the first place that Joseph and Milly show up together. I'll see what I have.

I am also aware of an LDS Library record that says Joseph was the son of Charles. I'm still not 100% convinced. This theory says that Joseph was born in England and was the first in our line to come to America.
I am descendant of Isaac Coker, the brother of your Abraham (as is Miles' wife).
