found a paper from The Church of The Latterday Saints. It is a Documented
Events Report. It has a Patsy Gaylle Coker: Date Born- 1880, Michigan. If

I am looking for information regarding the following:
I am descended from Yancy C. Coker (dates unknown) who married Sara Ann Brashiers (dates unknown). Sara Ann Brashier is descended from Hiram Brashiers who founded Brashiers Chapel near Arab, Alabama.
I have information that Yance C.Coker was in the Civil War (6th S. C. Calvary, Co. "E" and is buried in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.
Yance C. Coker and Sarah Ann [Brashiers] had the following children:
Martha Ann Coker b. Sept. 28, 1853 in S. C. [m. Albert Homer Ridgway Nov.8, 1871]
d. Nov. 4, 1936 and is buried in Ridgway Cemetery, Marshall Co. Ala.
Mary Coker [no further info]
J. W. Coker [no further info.]
Sinquefield Coker [no further info.]

But, your discovery interests me. yet it is the first I have hear of this Seaborn C Coker Mills, but, it is possible he was placed with another family but if i remember right I believe one of the Cker girls may have married a Dickerson. I have that name from somewhere.

I believe that the "SEABORN" and "COKER" and "MILLS" are also related to one another.
There was a "William Seaborn MILLS who was killed at the "Alamo". Name carved on a tablet there.
Also a Seaborn C MILLS who was killed a lilttle earlier on in a battle with the Mexican army. See other recent postings abut Seaborn and MILLS.
Also other related surnames may be CHILES, TERRILL/TERRELL and MILLS earlier in the family tree.

Hello, I have a Laura Coker( no middle inital though) listed in a 1900 census. I was doing a search for my G-Grandmother Julia/Julie Coker. The census information is listed as follows.
Julie Coker birth about 1890, residence in 1900 Mason,Yell County,Arkansas. The family information is as follows.
Coker,Joseph Head of household white-male ?? 1833-47yrs.
Coker,Levticis wife white-female August 1863-36yrs.
Coker,Julie daughter white-female June 1889-10yrs.
Coker,Laura daughter white-female December 1891-8yrs. Also included in this census it has Joseph listed as being born in Tenn. Joseph's father born in S.C.--mother born in Tenn. Levticis born in Ala. her father born in Ala. and her mother born in Ga. Both Julie and Laura were listed as being born in Ark.
If any of these names,dates,or places match anyone elses research I would be gratefrul for any information anyone is willing to share about this part of the family. This is as far back as my research goes. And forward as much as I know goes like this, Julia/Julie married a Fate/Lafayette Hilliard and they had 4-5 sons(?) and one daughter Theo Hilliard (my maternal grandmother) B. 24 December 1912-13(?) D.?? August 1990. She in turn married Ray Underwood B. 7 August 1910. I dont have a marriage date, they had 10 children Ray "Bud" Underwood Jr. B. 1932 D.1993 married Billie Jo ?? Underwood, Leon (my dad)B. 4 November 1934 married Betty Ann Chisem Underwood B. 9 June 1938.The rest of kids are not in birth order Alice Underwood Duncan married Horace Duncan, Lois Underwood Mullvian married Robert "Bob" Mullvain, Gerene Underwood married Iva ?? This J.C. Coker you are searching for is it male or female? I am a descendant of the Coker name and my Coker is/was Julia/Julie and in 1921 she would have been about 21yrs. old. She was listed in a 1900 census and residence at this time was in Mason,Yell County,Arkansas. She married m Fate/Lafayette Hilliard and their daughter Theo was my grandmother.If any of this information sounds familuar maybe we could help each other out.
