Who is this???? any have information?
OBIT: Coker, Dorothy Lambert II-128 Dorothy Lambert Coker dies at 58, Sunny side Rd., Philadelphia,
dies on Friday in Park West. (Monroe Co., TN ) Funeral services were conducted sunday afternoon from Loudoun Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Lambert officiating. Interment in Bakers Creek Cemetery, Blount County.
James COKER and Rebecca BONNER are my ggg-grandparents. James never married
anyone else. Nancy is his and Rebecca's daughter. Nancy married Henry C.
CARRAWAY in 1881 and was widowed in 1892. As far as I can tell James and
Rebecca moved from AL to TX sometime around 1855 -1858. The lived in Karnes
county for a short time before buying land in Gonzales county, near
Leesville. Sorry I can't be clearer about the details, but my genealogical
materials aren't handy at the moment. Actually, I have a photo of Rebecca
somewhere.
I haven't yet found James in the 1850 census either. He was b. in MS and the
Bonners were in AL. I believe that the couple lived near her family in AL
after marrying because the census records indicate that their first four
children were born there, the others having been born in TX. I would try
looking for them in or around Washington county, AL in the 1850 census.
Peyton COKER was b. Aug. 31, 1801 in SC. James was the only child by his
first wife Nancy MCINNIS.
I have more information on my website: http://www.toddcoker.com
Todd Coker
Does any have any Idea who this is????

I did receive youe e-mail, and I thought that I had answered it. Fortunately I saved it, and can answer it now. You asked how I descend from Marion Jackson Coker. I descend from his son Lorenzo Dow Coker, and Lorenzo's son Horlick Russell Coker, my father. You also mention DAR records. I have requested these, but have received nothing yet. How might you and I be related?

Dwight:
I have not yet had a DNA test, but right now, I am planning to have it done
when I attend the National Congress of the Sons of the American Revolution in
July in Louisville, KY. Some company is offering a discount during our
Congress and it supposedly includes the country of your surname ancestor's birth
about a 1,000 years ago. I haven't figured out how they would do that just
yet, but if you are interested, I can give you more details and an update at
the end of July.
