I've received a picture of a baby on a post card. I am guessing the years between 1910-? He is sitting on a stool for a platform, in a white lacy gown. On the back of this picture is the following:
George Henry Coker
marrce or marree mom

HELP! I need information about Daniel COKER, referred to as "The Fiddler" in Turnbo Stories and other sources. He was the son of Joseph Dempsey COKER. According to what little information I can piece together, he was married to Sarah M. Stallings, daughter of John Edwards STALLINGS & Minerva TABOR. Sarah is the sister to my gg-grandmother, Georgia Ann STALLINGS MELTON. Did Daniel & Sarah have any children? Does anyone have any information on when they died? I would really appreciate any information. Thanks!
HI, Henry F Coker is Reuben M Coker"s brother.

I performed a comparison of the Charles and Priscilla Stinson families of 1870 vs 1880 census, in Coneuch and Butler counties, repectively. I determined that the evidence is compelling that they are the same. I concluded that Charles Stinson was the stepfather of the Cokers, that any minor age differences was due to the social attitudes of the times. One glaring difference was the change of the grandson's name from Stinson to Coker (1870 vs 1880). Nelson is married to Caroline and Harry is married to Cassie in 1880.
Please, anybody, feel free to jump in with your opinions.
