Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I am searching for info. on Calvin Coker. Married Martha Melvinia Rippetoe.
Lived in Delta County Texas during the 1870s and into the 1900s. Moved into
Choctaw County Oklahoma before 1910. Help will be appreciated.

Young Jackson Coker, Sr., b. 1832, Ala., married Mary Francis Eitel, b. 1840, Tn., and lived their adult lives in Cass and Morris counties, Tx. I have little information on Y.J. Coker, Sr. but would be happy to share what I have with you if it would help.
Seeking information on Young Jackson Coker, Sr., b. 1832, Ala., d. 1904, Bryans Mill, Cass, Tx. Married Mary Francis Eitel, 26 Jan 1860. This couple lived all their adult lives in Cass Co., Tx.

My grandfather was Calvin Coker, grandmother Martha Melvinia Rippetoe Coker.
They lived in Texas. Came to Oklahoma before 1910. I don't know of a George
Bernard Coker, but I don't know all my father;s brothers names. My father was
Robert H Coker born 10-05-1883 in Texas. I think Calvin Coker was born in
Tennessee.
Lucinda Coaker did not go to Okla. with Sarah Coaker McCoy.
Sarah was my Grandpas Mother.She died at his home.And Ann
Malinda Coaker (Susie) was my Grandmothers mother.Susie and
Sarah was sister.

My grandfather was Charles or Charlie Ray Coker.I know he worked for the railroad in Maryland in 1959.I have a picture of him as a young man. I believe he was born about 1897in N.C. My g grandparents ELSBERRY B. JACKSON AND MARY COKER. m. in 1879 in Henry Co. Ga. Elsberry was born in Gwinnett Co. Ga. in 1837. Mary and Elsberry's children were:
Alma, Manson, WILLIAM GRADY, B. 1890 & Lillian. All born in Henry Co. Ga. Mary Coker died about 1895 in Butts Co. Ga
and Elsberry married Mary Ann Crowell in Henry Co. Ga in 1898.
Elsberry and Mary Crowell had children: Raymond, b.1902
Luvene, and Emmie. (named for Elsberry's youngest sister who died young. Elsberry died in Monroe Co. Ga and is buried in Hampton, Henry Co. Ga (Brea Church ) We know little about Mary Coker and would like to connect to the Cokers in Henry Co. and find her parents and siblings. Can you relate to this line of Cokers? Thanks, Myrna Findlay

My grandfather was also adopted but it was in Ok. in the 1900, I am trying to
find his biological family. He had 3 or 4 brothers and one sister.
I will keep my ears and eyes open to see if I can find any info for you.
