Hello,
I am trying to find out about the John Coker b 1816 family. 1850 Census list no wife and children Francis J 16, Leonard 13, Robert C 9, Polly 9, Marion 7 and John 1. (John married Elnora Parton 8/19/1871). Then 1860 listed new wife Nancy Jane 27, Robert C 19, John 11, and 3 more by I assume Nancy Jane. They are William 7, Elizabeth Jane 5, and Nancy 1. The one I am really interested in is Nancy 1. That would make her born in 1859. Richard Glover married a Nance E (I think it was Nancy Coker named above) I know we are related to Cokers, dad talked about them. He called one Uncle John and ran around with Ted Coker and he had a sister Liss? Richard was my fathers Grandfather so they couldn't be 1st cousins.
Mother remembers her name was Nancy and she died at her granddaughter Roxie's home in Oklahoma after her husbands death.
He died in 1931.
Stan Coker tried to help me, thinks this could be the Nancy I am looking for.
Sure hope you can help.
Thanks
Leon Glover
