Richard Coile, 63, Knoxville.
COILE, RICHARD E. - age 63, passed away Tuesday, September
25, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was a retired Veteran of the
US Navy after 24 years of service and retired from the US Post
Office after 5 years of service. He is preceded in death by:
parents, Reva Wyce Coile Dawson and Harry F. Coile, Sr.; brother,
Harry F. Coile, Jr.; sister, Betty Phillips. He is survived by: wife,
Linda Faye Coile; sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Teresa
Coile, Victor and Cindy Coile; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer
and Tony Conard, Julie and Greg Caylor; brother and sister-in-law,
Ronald L. and Suzanne Coile; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Imogene Tyree of Oak Ridge, Evelyn Mynatt, Knoxville, Nina Lois
and Santo Mancarella of Seymour; grandchildren, Phillip, Lacey,
Courtney, Shelby, Julia, Daniel, Mary, Elijah, Emilie, Erik. Funeral
services will be Thursday at 8 p.m. at Weaver Chapel. Family and
friends will meet Friday at 10:45 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park
for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Family will receive friends
Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home. Any
contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of
East Tennessee, INC., 4450 Walker Blvd., Suite 2, Knoxville, TN
37917. Weaver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn C. Forbes, 88
Evelyn C. Forbes, formerly of Boonville, Mo. died on Aug. 6, 2001 in Columbia,
Mo. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10 at East Lawn
Memorial Park in Mexico under the direction of Pickering Funeral Home with the
Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral
home.
Mrs. Forbes was born April 14, 1913 in Mexico, the daughter of Jesse L and
Myrtle Hoffman Coil. She attended public schools in Mexico and graduated from
the University of Missouri with a degree in elementary education She taught for
20 years in the Audrain County and Mexico school systems. In 1933 she married
John Stull Tompson, who died in 1970. They had two sons. She was an active
member of both the Mexico and Boonville chapters of the Daughters of the
American Revolution. She was also formerly a member of the Orpheus Music
Club in Mexico. She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church in
both Mexico and Boonville, and had been active in womens' groups in both
churches.
She is survived by one son, John C. Tompson of San Antonio, Texas, six
grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her brother Jesse L. Coil, Jr.
She was preceded in death by one son, James D. Tompson and her sister
Virginia C. Heimer.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church in
Mexico or Boonville.
