VALENTINE "FELTE" COIL1) was born October 06, 1916 in Ida Grove, Ida County,
Iowa, and died May 22, 1999 in Mackinaw, Tazewell County, Illinois at his
home. He married GENEVA D. FOOTE June 29, 1941 in Danville, Vermilion Co.,
Illinois.

Ross A. Coil, 82, of Mackinaw died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday (May 22, 1999)
at his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mackinaw Christian Church, 205
Orchard St., Mackinaw. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery with military
rites by the American Legion.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Haensel Funeral Home, 501
Orchard St., Mackinaw, with Masonic services at 8 p.m.
Mr. Coil was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Ida Grove, Iowa, a son of Henry and
Estella Harper Coil. He married Geneva Foote on June 29, 1941, in Danville.
She survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Karan Parmele of Mackinaw, Kathy
Sanders of Brentwood, Tenn., Crystal Huney of St. Peters, Mo., and Kitty
Gray of Clinton, Ark.; a son, Allen Coil of Mackinaw; a sister, Martha
Elliott of Falls Church, Va.; two brothers, Albert Coil of Browning and
Donovan Coil of Tolono; four foster children; 15 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ross was a retired skilled tradesman. He worked at Caterpillar Tractor
Co. for 36 years.
Mr. Ross attended Illinois Wesleyan University and Eastern Illinois University.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mackinaw Christian Church, the Mackinaw
Rescue Squad or BroMenn Hospice.

13, 1999) at his home.

Services for Frances T. Coil, 84, of Bardwell will be at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell. The Rev. Larry Jackson will officiate,
with burial in Elsey Cemetery in Bardwell. She died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday
at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
She was a retired Carlisle County teacher and a member of Morris Valley
Christian Church. She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents
were James White and Ethel Ines Thomas Coil. Friends may call from 4 to
8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
