ZANESVILLE: James "Paul" Cogswell, 60, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away at 11:35 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.
Paul was born May 20, 1954 in Geneva, OHIO, the son of Lucy L. Cogswell Stalnaker of Zanesville and the late Thomas Elwood Cogswell.
He served for 11 years in the Army working as a dozer operator with the Corp of Engineers.
After his service in the Army he worked as a dozer operator and truck driver.
In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his four sons: James Troy Cogswell of Zanesville, Gary Joseph (Peggy) Cogswell of TX, Jonathan (Sarbinia) Cogswell of TX and Jarod Rognon of Frazeysburg, Ohio; four brothers: Ronald Cogswell of London, OH, Donald Cogswell of Duncan Falls, Ohio, Frank Cogswell of Zanesville and Nick Weber of WI; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathi and James Hunkins of Fultonham, OH; five grandchildren: Christopher, Autumn, Austin, Joseph and Skylar; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Paul is preceded in death by his step-father, Roy Stalnaker; his nephew, Michael Cogswell; and a sister-in-law, Cookie Cogswell.
A memorial graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at the graveside in Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville with Rev. Sue Ellen Skinner officiating.

I think they came back to England 1915 from Montreal
then seemed to have disappeared.
