I've not seen any recent postings regarding the early Cogswells in MA. And
I've found nothing of interest regarding the wife of Adam3 (John1, William2)
whose first name is said to be Abigail. Has anyone turned up any leads, or
does anyone have any interesting theories as to her family? I'd like to
explore this a bit, but don't have a clue as to where to start-other than
Ipswich records in general. Looking for spare Abigails doesn't seem to be a
productive approach.
Does anyone have any ideas or theories about Abigail?

Karren, I agree with you that Cyrus BLOSSOM's children were probably NOT the adoptees. Cyrus's middle initial is "C." I wish we could find documentation on his supposed adoption.
I cannot find any info from you on Harriet HARRIS. I try to put any info in my FTM "notes" immediately, but, that doesn't mean I always do. I'm going to send you all the HARRIS info that I have collected (not much) by a separate e-mail.

Hi Kim...came across this Cogwell name in some of my Old, Old notes. But haven't a clue what it pertains to. The notes just say Earl of Bloxsom, Gogswell from England. I would be more inclined to believe Cyrus, father of Ebenezer, would be the adoptee, not Ebenezer, yet I have found nothing to really indicate this is the truth either, Also tried to sent you 2 letters I received regarding Harriet Harris. Did you receive those. It kept telling me you didn't exsist at AOL. But I don't have the best luck with my e-mails either....Karren
