Hi,
While researching my Cogswell and Appleton lines I came across something I am
not sure about, it is possible it happened but I would like to know if anyone
can clear it up for me. My Ancestor Johnathan Cogswell married Mary
Appleton.
Johnathan's father was William Cogswell. Mary's mother was Elizabeth Wade.
According to LDS files it shows Elizabeth Wade married to a Benjamin Appleton
and to William Cogswell. If you go by dates, she was married first to
Benjamin abt 1728. He died in 1731. She married William Cogswell in 1735.
All this took place in Ipswich, MA. Does anyone know if this is true fact?
Thanks in advance.
