Hi Board Members, I am desperately seeking any information and attachment to Michael Coglin & Jane Boyle, their family. They started out at Redruth and ended up at Yunta. Michael had the first store built there and operated for a long period of time. He was born around 1850 an died 1934 in Edwardstown, SA. Jane was born 1862-1898. They had six known children, Jane, Mary Ellen, Theresa Jane, Margaret, Ruby May, Margaret. The family is a mystery as I cannot find them arriving in OZ at all. There are three other children attached to this family, but I cannot prove it. Agnes, Annie & Julia Hannah. Julia Hannah could be Ruby May?
WHAT A WEB THIS ONE IS PROVING TO BE,
The known girls Jane born and died 1886. Mary Ellen Coglin (aka Tena or Lena) married Patrick George O'Reilly, Theresa Jane (AKA Tessie) married John Herbert James Lewis and they had six children -Marjorie Joyce, Phyllis Jean, Hazel May, Hartley John, Ross Colin, Keith Raymond.
Margaret Catherine (aka Kathleen) married Lewis Phillip Crawley and they had three children - Ernest William, Desmond Lewis and Gloria Eleanor.
So if anyone out there knows this family or any part there of, I will be eternally grateful. I am currently writing the O'Reilly-Mullins Family History and the Coglin side is a bit shy on history.
Thanks in anticipation, Maggie May
