Eugene is my 3rd Great Grandfather... I would love to have some picture to add to my tree!
Do you have any information about Eugene's death?
Or any info about his daughter Mary? She is my GGGrandmother.
Thanks!

Hi! I am hoping to find out some history about Eugene M Coghlan - he is my 3rd G Grandfather - b. 1854, Neshoba, MS and d.1903, Neshoba, MS.
He died so young and my GMother tells a story of someone in the Coghlan line who was killed by a son in law that he did not get along with. She didn't know exactly who. I was wondering if this might be it.
Also, noticed Eugene had a daughter "Cola" who was widowed at a young age and then spent the rest of her life in East MS Mental Hospital as an "inmate" per the census records. Was wondering if this was to connection to the murder? Anyone have any details?
Also, in the 1880 census Eugene lists a infant daughter, Mary (my GGGrandmother) but then in 1900 lists a Lenora - I can't find any info on who this Lenora would have been. By 1900, Mary was married to James C Hobby and had left home. Or maybe she still lived at home?
Anyone have any details about this Coghlan Line in Nesoba, Mississippi?
Thanks!
Jennifer
