Hi: .... My Great Uncle - Bernard COGHLIN/COGHLAN, was born 1836, Ireland. He married Lucy Alice PALIN, (b. 1833) at W. Derby, England. The family emigrated to Montreal Quebec, in 1869 or shortly after.
They had three known children: Mabel N. Coghlin, b. 1871;
Bernard William Coghlin, b. 1874; Gerald J.R. Coghlin, b. 1877. The 1901 Census finds them all living at 151 University St. Montreal, Quebec. Bernard was listed as a railway supplies Merchant.
I am seeking his parentage, as well as where the 3 children went, married, descendants, death dates, etc. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone with any clues, or links to more info' on these elusive and "lost" ancestors of mine!
...With high hopes, - Sincerely, Ann Palin, (Ontario)

Hannah Coghlan, the daughter of John Coghlan and Anne Pack, married John Bourke in Chapeau, Allumette Island, Pontiac County, Quebec on Sept. 12, 1872.
I am half related to John Bourke, as his father Thomas Bourke, is my great great grandfather. Thomas was married twice, first to Elizabeth Burrows, then to Mary Ann Laffin (my great great grandmother).
While I am not in the North Bay, Ontario area, I do live in Washington State.
I would like to know what information you have on the Bourke and Coghlan family.
I do have some more information on the children of John Bourke and Hannah Coghlan.
