Dear Listmembers,
I'm Al Dawson, new to the list. Anyone investigating Elizabeth Coghlan, born
1748 in Ireland, who married Elder James Ennis? He was a soldierm then a
minister, in Canada. They eventually settled in Sussexvale, New Brunswick,
Canada.

I am researching Michael Patrick Coghlan who I believe emigrated to australia ~ 1870 and was ~ 13 years old. He married Annie Short in 1885. They named one of their sons William so the name may be a family name.
Your William Coghlan may be Michael's brother. If so we are researching the same line. Hope this rings a bell!
