If you are still looking my great great Grandfather Thomas Coggins married a woman named Hannah I believe they remained in Ireland their son Michael Coggins married Mary Ann Jordan or Journigan, and at some point ended up in Scranton area where their son John Joseph Coggins was born. He had one brother Michael and was left an orphan young. He was sent to live with a cousin who was an undertaker. I do not know that persons name. John ran away, he married Anne Elizabeth Fitzsimmons who was from the same area. They had several children, my father James was born in 1919. The family names are Coggins, Fitzsimmons Jordan Ridley Harrison, and Hull

I am interested in Martha Young Coggins who was born in England and came to the USA in about 1886.

>Had old threads under an old email Trickypennylpn. It would not let me post to those old threads. But this is what I have found out. James C Coggins (AKA Jim, or J C) was Dora Youngs grandfather. She married David Bruce Cotton. They had two children Hernander Camel (aka H C Cotton) and Estella Cotton. By census in 1910 Hernander and Estella were listed living with James C Cotton and Fannie (Aka Mary F) but they have Hernander and Estella listed as Coggins not Cotton. JC Cotton died in 1916 and the next census it has Estella living with William Calvin Coggins and Mary F (mother) In another Census it has Jim and Mary F Coggins with three children, Martha, Mary and William C. I believe Martha is possibly Mattie. Looking for information on Dora and her parents. Ed or E D Young and Martha Coggins Young. Have found a census that has all these names but very unsure if its the right one, because if it is than Dora had my grandfather at 12 years of age.
