Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Please email Hem5113(a)aol.com she is the one who was looking for the information on the Coggins She is a cousin of mine and her mother and my dad was sister and brother sur name of Luther. But the gentleman she married also had a Luther in his family so I am not sure but that might be the line she is looking for.

I think I can help a little with the Luther line. Can you help any more with Burl Coggins? I haven't been able to find out anything about him. I have found some Burl Coggins' who would be a generation or two older than Louisa's father, but nothing to tie him to them. Do you have any more info on the Coggins line/

This is my husbands lineage. Louisa died in 1852..leaving our grgrgrandmothe and other children..James remarried and had three children...he died of illness in 1862 in Civil war.How are you connected to the Luther coggins family. there is a lot of history, as the Coggins moved from North Carolina, as did the Luthers.
