I have been told that my gr-gr grandmother Castletine Melissa "Cassie" Coggins was a dau of Jarrett Coggins, but I have not been able thus far to come up with documentation to prove or disprove that. She was born ca. 1832 in GA (county unknown). 1850 census shows her living with mother Polly (maiden name?) and one sister in Hall Co. She married Joshua Hudson Westbrooks between 1850-55. They settled in Jackson Co. and then moved to Gwinnett in the latter part of 1860. Cassie died 1913. She and her husband are buried at New Prospect Methodist Church near Buford GA. Josh and Cassie's house on Little Mill Rd. near the the church is still standing, occupied and in good condition but no longer in the family. Is anybody working on this line and able to help me match Cassie up with some of her kinfolks?
