Hello,
I have heard and read for some time re: the parents of these two people but
have never seen documented proof as to the fact. I was really hoping someone
out there could and would help.

Please e-mail me privately I have information on John and Ann.
I am not sure if this is what you want, sometimes when I post things there
are some people on this list that get kind of smart if you know what I mean.
That is why I ask you to e-mail me. I have the book The Descendants of Coggin
(Cogan), John 1590-1658 and the book from 1620-1698 I spell my name with
a "s" my g -grandfather did to.
In the book it has John Coggin parents as John Coggin and Elizabeth
Price. Ann Powell parents as Thomas Powell. Doesn't list a Mom . It says
" last Will of Thomas Powell, dated 28 day of February 1750, father of Ann
Powell Coggin, wife of John Coggin b. about 1715?20 in Isle of Wight Co. VA
in part quote" Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Coggin five
shillings. I give it to her and her heirs forever" Isle of Wight Co, VA Will Book
5, page 402
So you can check about the Will Book. It also has the Land Grants and Will
of John Coggin Deed Book 18 page 109 Rowan County, NC If you want me to
scan the pages and send to you I can. I hope this helps a little. Maybe you can
look up the books and Tomas Powell.

I really appreciate your help and yes, if it's not too much trouble I would love scans of the pages of the book.
