My gg gradfather, Roland Coggiins, moved toFranklin (Macon Co) NC about the time of the Civil War. They had a daughter Jennie (Milinda) who marriet William Hix Watkins. They had three children, Beulah who married a Bryson and my grandmother Sally "Ethel" who married Edd Parrish. A son, William Hix Watkins, was born after his father had died of thypoid feaver. William Jr. never married and lived with my grandmother and her family until he died in 1943. Is this the Coggins Watkins you are talking about. I have a lot of information on the Coggins side but very little on the Watkins side.
