The 1930 book "The Coggeshalls in America" (TCIA) has some interesting information about this family.
"Benoni Coggeshall had his name changed to Benoni Weaver, in order to inherit the estate of Benoni Weaver, the former husband of his mother, Hannah (Weaver) Coggeshall." (from page 177)" Mrs Hannah Weaver, widow of Benoni Weaver was the second wife of Josiah Coggeshall. They were married on Nov 22, 1786 and Benoni Coggeshall was the first child from this marriage. (from page 109). All of the children of the Benoni who changed his name from Coggeshall to Weaver are shown in the book with the last name Weaver.
Stephen Perry Weaver was their 5th child, so Josaih Coggeshall would be his grandfather.
TCIA show that Benoni (Coggeshall) Weaver died in Middletown, RI on Oct 22, 1849.
The 3 Coggeshalls at the bottom of your question are all in the book.
- Alton Francis Coggeshall, b Middletown RI Jan 3, 1878 to George Coggeshall and Alzada Francis Weaver, daughter of Stephen Perry Weaver (son of Genoni Coggeshall-Weaver) (Page 293)
- Sarah Gardner Coggeshall, b Nantucket, Mass about 1829 to Benjamin Coggeshall & Eunice Coffin Gardner and married Henry Rule (no issue). (I can't figure out how she was involved).
- Elizabeth Winslow Coggeshall, b Mansfield, Conn Oct 19, 1821 to Thomas Coggeshall & Eliza Hovey. Elizabeth married Caleb Holt & had 2 children in Brooklyn, NY (not certain why she was involved either).
Hope this helps some. Pete Coggeshall, husband of Sandy

I am still offering my father's (Robert W. Coggeshall) book, "Ancestors & Kin" for sale. I am competing with the low prices charged by Amazon for this book. I will meet their low price and ship the book postage paid anywhere in the USA. In addition, I will provide information about the 8 different "Royal Bastard" lines (Descendants of the Illegitimate Sons & Daughters of the Kings of Britain) proved by my father -- but not specifically shown in his book. Three of those lines go through Patience Throckmorton who married Major John Coggeshall. So if you can trace back to this Patience, you can trace back further to an British King and his bastard child with this information.
If you check Amazon, you will note that I am also selling the book there. But the price is higher there because of the fees I have to pay Amazon. So to get the best price on this book plus the Royal Bastard information, please order the book directly from me at this e-mail address:
pcoggeshall(a)earthlink.net
My offer still holds for making photo-copies of pages from The Coggeshalls in America at the cost of the copies - when you order the A&K book.
Pete Coggeshall - Sandy's husband

The 1930 book "The Coggeshalls in America" has no listing for an Elder (male or female).
There is also no listing for a Frederica Coggeshall or a Clayton Coggeshall.
Helen and Catherine are more common names, but none of the listings for them in this book track back to a mother named Emma or siblings with the names you list.
A Helen born in Eagle Cliff, CA in 1882 has no other sibling listed (although there could be some) and there is no name (first or last) shown for her mother. This may be your best hope.
There are 9 Helen Coggeshalls listed with middle names - does your Helen have one?
There are 7 Catherine Coggeshalls listed with middle names.
If either girl has a middle name, please advise so I can look further.
That seems to be the best that The Coggeshalls in America can do to help.
Pete Coggeshall - Sandy's husband
