I have been trying for several years to find the parents of Daniel
Coggeshall, whose wife was Lousanna (Unknown). I have no dates except
for the fact that their daughter Mary Coggeshall married Stephen
Brownell Jr in Little Compton, RI, on December 11, 1803. Mary was
Stephen's second wife, and Stephen was born March 19, 1762, in Little
Compton.
The reason for my subject heading is that Stephen and Mary had a child
(not sure if son or daughter) named Dwelley Brownell. Since I know that
John3 Coggeshall, son of Major John, married Amey Dwelley, daughter of
Joshua Dwelley and Elizabeth Round, my reasoning is that Dwelley
Brownell was named for his/her grandmother.
Can anyone verify this guess into fact?
