Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

There is a Coggan family in New Zealand . Fredirick Donald Coggan came to NZ from London in 1926 with his wife and 4 sons and 1 daughter.
My father was Reginald Coggan the youngest of the children. He was known as "Joe" Coggan, married Esme Allen in 1945,, died 1992. Esme died 2004. Joe & Esme met before WW2 and married at the war end. Joe was in the 21st Battilon NZ Army 1940-1945, El Alamien North Africa, Monte Cassino Italy and at Trieste war end. They were succesful business persons and main activity was boating on the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, NZ on their immaculate launch Tiromoana.Joe/ Esme were a very close couple and had 3 children Helen, Mark (myself) and Susan.
