Hi Gladys,
My names Stu. I'm 28 from Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.
I've only just recently started researching my familys history and I was
wondering if you could be of any help. So far I've traced our family for sure
back to 1855, when James and Martha Coggan migrated to Australia on board the
Victory, from Liverpool England. Any assistance you can offer would be
greatly appreciated.
Where abouts in the world are you? I would love to hear where
your family came from, no doubt we will be connected somehow. Anyway hope
things are going well for you and I look forward to hearing from you,
Thanks Stu

Hello Gladys,
Thank you for the info, but I had already had found that Emma. There is also an Emily living in Bramley as well, about similar age but born in Bramley, although I found this one and then lost her again, I will find her again once I can get on-line on the 1901 census again and try to find out which one is living with William Henry.
Kind Regards from Linda Collie in Hadleigh, Suffolk, England
Hi Linda,
Did you see this when I posted it before. I tried it last night with my
grandparents and it worked. My grandfather had the first number grandmother
the next and their daughter the third. This proved that they were all the
same family.
cheers
Gladys
Are you trying to sort out your results when searching for one surname only,
without a first name?
If you Copy and Paste all the results from the Web page onto Word Pad
some extra blue text will appear for each name.
Included in this will be- pageId=......... All of one household will be on
the same or adjacent pageId.
There will also be, for each name, a personId=....... These will be
consequetive numbers within one household.
Hence the members of each family can be grouped together.
I found this by accident whilst trying to save web time with a quick
search and store.
Hi Linda,
I just sent this to you instead of the list so I am sending it again.
I just looked on the 1901 census and found Emma Buckle age 38 born Crowle
Lincs. Living at Bramley Leeds. It looks like this could be your Emma. I
have also found a Henry Buckle age 37 born Bramley Yorks living in Bramley
and a Shoemaker in a factory.
cheers,
Gladys
Hello Gladys & All,
Just thought I would let you all know I am still here with my brick wall.
Her name was Emma/Emily Coggan/Coggon and was born about 1862. She married Henry William Buckle at the Parish Church, Leeds on 5th August 1889. Her father was William. Witness were Alice Coggan & Mathers Balmforth.
On the 1881 census I found a William Coggan & wife Susan, he was born about 1837 in Haxey. It looks like there could have been other children of William, named Joseph about 1861, Alice about 1868, Ada about 1871 & Ann born about 1874.
If any one on this list know's anything about these parents or their 'children' or may have come across my Emma/Emily I would love to hear from you.
This is my brick wall and I cannot believe I cannot get back passed 1862. I have searched the GRO indexes back & forth and inside out, but cannot identify my Emma/Emily's birth certificate. HELP
Kind Regards from Linda Collie in Hadleigh, Suffolk, England soon to be moving to Spain (6-8 months)

Hi List,
Does anyone know of a marriage of Susannah COGGON. She was born in Crowle
Isle of Axholme, North Lincs. between 1872 and 1876. Her mother died in
early 1876.
She was still single and in Crowle and a witness to her brothers wedding in
Nov. 1894. After that she seems to disappear so I assume that she married but
I am not sure.
Any help would be appreciated.
cheers,
Gladys
