Also to add to that. John Stephen's WWI draft registration card has his occupation as
"cow puncher" working for G. Duncan at Diamond Bar Ranch, registered in
Hackberry, Mohave, Arizona. Here's the copy of the form, if you would like to send it
to him.

I think I did find a George in CA. The son was working as a cow puncher
for the Diamond ??? Ranch and the ranch was owned by a Duncan and John
married the daughter and died in CA.
I just figured anything that I had found was not important as I also found
family trees and the parents weren't listed in there.
It would be interesting to find out where this man's mother was born and
that would tell us if they stayed around the Denver area or was there on
their way to some place else when the son was born.
