Subject: family question
Can you give me any information on a William Bradford born in New York.
Married my grandmother Mamie Gertrude Coster in Denver, Co around 1900.
They had a daughter Julia Bradford born Jan. 15, 1901. I would like to find
their marriage certificate and his death certificate. He must have died
sometime around this time. Later Mamie married Wesley Stacey from Denver
CO. I was wondering if there was a married certificate on this marriage.
Not sure which county. Julia was born in Denver CO and my mother Mary M.
Stacey (by grandma's second husband) was born in Ouray, CO Sept. 2, 1907. I
think my grandmother's (Mamie Coster) 1st husband (William Bradford) was
killed in a mining accident. Does this help?
My grandmother never talked about her first or second marriage. Stacey
died March 3, 1918 in Seattle, WA and grandma married Joseph Habersetzer
who also had children. It was an arranged marriage by the Catholic priest.
I know that grandma went to Canon City Co Mt. ST. Solastica Academy (around
12 years old) and played the organ that the prison near the school
Thank you for any help you can give.
