She must know that she was born in Boulder Co. or she wouldn't have
contacted you. So, she should search court records and birth records in
the county. I am trying to think, when you are adopted do they change your
original birth certificate to the adopted parents name? There should
still be an original filed first. If her records are sealed, maybe the
court will unseal them because of her age. She said that she was 5 years
old so she might have been put in foster care and then adopted from there..
Social Services records maybe be available.
