I would be willing to help out.
I think I am a bit of a pack-rat. I just hate the idea of original
documents and books being destroyed, even if they are available online.
Is there an active genealogical/historical society in the county that
would be willing to keep the originals and possibly pass them along to a
family member at some point?

I got an email today from the genealogy society in Henderson, Nevada
who
has been trying to locate the family of a women from Delta Co. They were
unsuccessful, so they asked me if I would be interested to receive all the
information on this women/family to add to the Delta Co. web site. I
replied with a, "yes". Now, if this information, which is being mailed to
me this week arrives and Delta Co. is adoptable are there a few of you who
could help getting this information online. If there isn't a lot, I can
handle it, but if we get a lot, I will need some help. Also, after we have
used the information, and if it is family documents, pictures, etc. what
should we do with the original papers?
Vikki, that used to be your county before Betty took it over. What do you
have for suggestions? I am not familar with Delta Co. at all.
