I lived in Longmont, not far from Left Hand Creek. Homes were evacuated
there yesterday and I haven't been able to find out if there was flooding in
that area. Anyone know how to find out?
My son is in Lafayette and is safe but not far from Arapahoe in Boulder that
has some flooding. He has been sending me photos.
My prayers are with my friends and family in Colorado and hoping things turn
out better than they look.

I'm just northwest of Longmont and am high and dry, but the flooding around
us and in Longmont (Boulder Co) is horrendous.

Here's hoping that everyone and their families are doing well during the
awful flooding going on out there. We are quite used to flooding over here
in my little corner of the world in Georgia, but the pictures are
horrendous.
Please do whatever you need to do to stay safe.

Carolyn,
I'm sorry to say that both the St. Vrain River and Left Hand Creek are way over their
banks and most people along them have been evacuated. I haven't heard of any serious
injuries or fatalities though.
Here is a link to our local paper. They are constantly updating the conditions.
