Well, here in the Puget Sound area of Washington, we have no snow, but we
also have not had any electricity since last Thursday. The power company
says we should get it back by 10pm Christmas Eve. My kids in Broomfield
report a couple feet of snow. I think I could handle 2 feet of snow better
than 8-10 days without power in sub-freezing weather.
Fortunately the alpacas, llamas, and chickens don't need lights.
