Pauli,
I just orderd Pro X for $18, last year's model. I do not need this year's $125
model for my use.

Charles,
PaintShop Pro is a good program that many call the poor man's Photoshop. I haven't
used it in years, but I know that it is still available (I think Corel now owns it), and a
lot of people swear by it. Layers are an important part of the program. You might try
checking it out. Also Photoshop Essentials is a less expensive and watered down version of
Photoshop that also uses layers. Both programs used to sell for under $100, but I'm
not sure of the actual prices.

Hello All,
I want to use a county outline map and place crosses on them to mark cemeteries. I have
a couple of images programs but they ar far to difficult to use to "layer" text
over image.
Does anyone know of an inexpensive, easy to use, layering image program?
(No, I do not want to use Google Map or any other copyrighted service.)
