I'm finding out just how badly overloaded this man was, folks. He deserves
the deep and sincere thanks of every COGenWeb Project CC! Applause!
Applause! Take a bow, Lee. You deserve it!

It must be noted that a USGenWeb project of any sort is nothing without the many
folks who contribute. There are many on this list and even more who are not who
we should really be thanking instead of my taking bows for their efforts. I am
not the one who spends my free weekends and vacations in a Colorado cemetery
taking pictures and transcribing headstones.
Thanks everyone!
Lee
We love you both Lee and Leona *S*
Lee,
It is not just us in the field, it took more than that to get the site
up...it is called teamwork!!!
I tried to get the cemetery up on the hill in Leadville last week. It was a
joke...first no snow tires on the truck and the truck wouldn't make the hill
so had to chain it up. Then I went to put my boots on so I could trek up
the hill and no boots, so I put Jack's on....;-), big, way too big but I was
determined, so thru the snow and sage to get a picture of some graves. By
the time I got up there I was so out of breath that I wanted oxygen and then
the graves were iced over and I had nothing to clear the ice, it was called,
not planning ahead!! I took some pictures and then started down and had an
asthma attack and did not think I was going to make it back to the truck.
By the time I got there I was very light headed and crying as I knew I was
not going to make it to my inhaler, but I did and I am here to talk about it
and laugh with the rest of you but the biggest disappointment was not
getting the pictures of the graves...but I sure want to thank you for all
that you have done!!
