Although I've
thought a couple times this would be a good project for a boy
scout troop
to earn their genealogy badge. I have no clue if there are any groups in
Costilla, although I imagine there is. We never had much interaction with
anyone in Costilla when I lived there in Conejos.

I have many boy scout troops doing cemetery transcriptions for their
genealogy badges in Ohio. They contacted me but I now coordinate
via the Boy Scouts of America troop leader for Southern Ohio so there
is consistency. Part of the requirement is that I actually receive the
transcriptions and I have to verify them. Would you like me to ask him
if there is a counterpart in Colorado?
