There are two active Archives search engines already in place.
The Archives statewide search entry page is at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/co/search.htm
You are welcome to copy the ht://Dig form code (the bottom form on the page)
that provides a "drop down menu" by county search to use on your county
pages. Simply change the search "default" entry from "All" to
"El Paso" for
a county specific Archives search form that still provides statewide access
upon request (probably the best of both worlds).
I can provide the county specific HTML coding for the ht://Dig form to
change it to a "one county" search for anyone who wants to limit visitors
search options.
While you are welcome to copy the ISearch search engine form code and use
it, the indexer isn't set up to sort by county directories. You can't code
the form to search only one county in the Archives.

Does anyone know html for a search to add to my pages? I have one on my El
Paso page but it is not searching the archives for El Paso County? Any help
is truly appreciated :)
