Oh gosh I am normally the first to jump at helping. But Maggie and I are
behind with the files from the Census Project.
And I unfortunatly do not meet those requirements.
Sorry Lee.

The Colorado USGenWeb Archives Tombstone Photo Project has gotten so

that is needed and still host the Colorado Tombstone Transcription Project,

I hung a help wanted sign for a new Colorado Tombstone Photo Project
Coordinator and Colorado USGenWeb Archives Co-Manager at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/co/help.htm
Before I announce it to the world, I felt the COGenWeb should have first
shot.
If you are interested read the job description/requirements. In brief, the
new Colorado Tombstone Photo Project Coordinator will be solely responsible
for the Tombstone Photo Project and would back me up with the Archives on a
limited basis. It will require about 2-4 hours work every day to stay ahead
of the photo donations and answer questions about the project and Colorado
cemeteries. The new coordinator would be an "Archives person" and expected
to support the goals of that project.
In fairness to our contributors, I would ask that you not take on the job if
you don't have the time to devote to it. I lost one contributor who had
several hundred photographs and was taking more every weekend because I
couldn't accept them fast enough to stay ahead of her digital photo storage
capacity.
It would be possible to split the job between a coordinator and assistant(s)
but the division of labor could be confusing to contributors. Of course the
coordinator could do Mary Ann, Karen, Leona and Gail's donations and the
assistants everyone else. B-)
