Laurie...
I want to wish you well. I joined COGenWeb a couple of years ago in part due to the help
you gave me [my wife's Hobson kinfolk living in Pueblo County]. I will always
appreciate your haveing put me in contact with them. You shall be sorely missed by
myself for sure and by others, but I wish you well. I will also not forget the help you
gave me when I first got started in my genealogical efforts.
God Bless always.
Sincerely,
Edward A. Black, Sr. [CC, Logan & Park Counties, COGenWeb]

Dear Fellow List members,
It is with great sadness that I write to let you all know, that I have come to a point in
my hectic life where I'm having to make some sacrifices. One of the most difficult
being resigning as County Coordinator for Pueblo and Crowley Counties.
My children are now reaching that age where their activities require my full-time
attention and attendance. With 3 children in three different stages of education and two
still at the toddler/baby stage, I'm finding less and less time to work on just
maintaining the pages. I can't even begin to develop them in the way they need and
deserve to be expanded.
I have really enjoyed the 4 1/2 years I've spent as part of the COGEN team. From
it's humble beginnings in 1996 to it's present state, I've seen the
organization change and evolve with the expanding internet as well as the wonderful
genealogy community. I have enjoyed traveling all over Colorado doing presentations and
will miss representing the USGEN web to those just discovering its wonderful resources. I
feel as though I've been a part of history in the making. I thank those of you who
supported me through 2 childbirth's, numerous computer crashes, the development of
mailing lists, and the birth of the genconnect boards.
Best wishes and success to you all! It's been an extreme pleasure to work with such
a wonderful bunch of enthusiasts. I'll get my kids raised and see you then!
Happy Rooting
